Baby, it's cold outside

It's getting a bit beyond sweater weather here in San Diego. I find myself layering on my clothes in the morning just for those 5 minutes that I will be outside. I don't know about you but I absolutely hate being cold! I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the winter! I love getting to wear boots and cute sweaters and coats and stuff. Here are some things I would wear to keep me warm

When sadness is all you see

Sometimes when you can hear your heart breaking and your world crumbling around you, all you can do is look up and smile even if every ounce of you wishes to look down and bawl your eyes out. If that's the case, you better have a damn good mascara and waterproof eyeliner. All one can do is emerge oneself in work and keep busy. So that's why I love looking at these lovely pictures to keep distracted.

  I can't tell you how many times I have started a blog with the intentions of it being wildly successful. Well, that is not the case because here I am again with many less than popular blogs behind me and finally starting another one again. Le sigh.....
Anyway! I shall leave the past behind me and start anew! I have many new ideas and possibilities inside my head for this blog. They have much evolved into something that I can put on paper (er, blogger) and I finally have some motivation to just roll with the punches and get this thing going. Without furter ado....I give you California Beauty, Etc. A place where I can ramble about beauty (duh), fashion, nails, decor, food and everything that comes between that and my mind.
